R&D activities

Being the first example of operational forecast system of the Mediterranean Sea ecosystem, the present work is concentrated on assessing the quality and performance of the OPA-BFM model. A series of experiments have been planned to fulfil the requirements of the external metrics. A future implementation will be the introduction of an assimilation scheme from satellite observations.
